SiteAI generates the road network automatically as part of the yield optimization process — internal centerlines, intersections, and cul-de-sac endpoints are produced by the engine, not drawn manually. This is intentional: the engine is designed to mathematically maximize lot yield within your defined constraints, and manual road placement would introduce variability that typically leaves lots on the table.
That said, you do have meaningful control over the road network at the input stage.
What You Can Configure in Step 7 — Roads
Road Entry Points — Click along the parcel boundary to place up to 10 entry points. The engine uses these as fixed constraints when generating the internal road network. If you know where the road needs to connect to the existing street, set it here.
Road Width — Set the road width in feet (default: 30 ft).
Sidewalk Width — Set the sidewalk width in feet (default: 5 ft).
If the Generated Layout Isn't Reflecting Site Realities
Adjust your entry points and re-run. Because SiteAI generates a yield study in under five minutes, running multiple scenarios with different entry point configurations is a fast and practical way to iterate.
