After SiteAI generates a site plan, the right panel and map display a set of metrics and measurements. Here's what each one means and how to use it.
Yield Count
The total number of lots SiteAI placed on the site. This is your headline number — how many buildable lots the parcel can support given your zoning inputs, home model dimensions, environmental constraints, and road layout. With SiteAI 3.0, every lot in this count meets the minimum width and depth you specified, making it defensible at the underwriting stage.
Net Developable Area
The portion of the parcel available for lots after subtracting roads, stormwater retention, open space, and environmental avoidance areas. This is the number that actually drives your yield — a 20-acre parcel might have only 14 net developable acres once roads and buffers are accounted for.
Gross Area
The total area of all selected parcels, before any deductions. This is the number on the parcel record — what you're acquiring on paper.
Road Area
The total land area consumed by the internal road network SiteAI generated. Road area comes directly out of gross acreage and is one of the largest factors in the gap between gross and net developable area.
Density
Lots per acre, calculated against net developable area. Use this to sanity-check your yield against what comparable projects in the market are achieving and against your zoning code's density cap.
Lot Dimensions on the Map
Zoom in closely on the generated plan and each lot displays its frontage width, side depth, and area directly on the map. These are the actual dimensions of the generated lot — not targets or minimums. If a number looks off for a specific lot, you can verify it against your zoning inputs and regenerate with adjusted parameters if needed.
Saving and Sharing Your Output
Save the site plan from the output panel to attach it to your project record in LRM. Saved plans persist on the map as an annotation and can be toggled on and off. To share with a colleague or bring to a leadership meeting, export a PDF report from the output panel — the report includes the site plan visual, all metrics, and the zoning inputs used to generate it.
