Welcome to Prophetic. This guide walks you through the most important things to do in your first week so you get to value quickly and don't spend time figuring out where to start.
Day 1 — Get Your Bearings on the Map
Navigate to a market you know well — a city or county where you've worked deals before. Zoom in and start clicking parcels. You're not looking for anything specific yet; you're getting familiar with what the platform shows you. Notice the property panel that opens when you click a parcel: ownership, assessed value, transaction history, zoning, environmental data, and more. This is the core of the platform — everything else builds on this view.
Day 1 — Run Your First Search
Open SearchAI and run a simple search in that same market — a zone type you work in and a rough acreage range. Look at the results list, click a few parcels from it, and get a feel for how search filters down to the opportunities you care about. Don't worry about getting the perfect search configured yet — the goal is just to see the workflow end to end.
Day 2 — Try ZoneAI and SiteAI on a Real Parcel
Find a parcel you already know — something your team has looked at before or a site you're familiar with. Click it, open the Zoning tab, and read through what ZoneAI surfaces. Then open SiteAI and run a yield estimate on it. Compare the output to what you already know about that site. This is the fastest way to calibrate your trust in the platform — using it on a site where you already have a gut feel for the answer.
Day 3 — Set Up Your Pipeline
Go to your Pipeline (also referred to as Land Relationship Manager or LRM™) and review your stages. If your administrator has already configured stages, familiarize yourself with what each one means for your team's workflow. If you're the admin setting things up for the first time, load the default stages as a starting point and adjust from there. Then save a parcel to a project — pick any site from your earlier searches — and move it through a couple of stages to see how the pipeline board works.
Day 4 — Explore DevMap in a Target Market
Enable the DevMap layer and zoom into a market you're actively watching. Look at what's been built recently, what's under construction, and what's in the future pipeline. Cross-reference what you see against what you already know about that market. Again, the goal is calibration — seeing whether the platform's picture of the market matches reality before you rely on it for decisions you don't have independent knowledge of.
Day 5 — Run a Full Due Diligence Pass
Pick a parcel you'd actually consider acquiring and save it as a project, this will put it in your Pipeline. Run the full due diligence workflow: ownership, zoning, environmental constraints, legal docs, utility layers, SiteAI yield estimate, DevMap context. By the end of this exercise you'll have used every major part of the platform in a real context, and you'll have a feel for where it saves you the most time.
A Few Things Worth Knowing Early
The platform works best when your pipeline is kept current. The more your team uses LRM to track deals, the more value everyone gets from the shared intelligence.
SearchAI has over 100 search types. Most users start with a handful and expand from there — you don't need to master all of them on day one.
If you hit a question the Help Center doesn't answer, use the Support button inside the platform. Your account team is also available for walkthroughs if you want to go deeper on any feature.
