SearchAI: New Guided Search Experience — July 2026

SearchAI has a redesigned three-step guided flow, a promoted nav position, quicker access to saved and recent searches, and a dedicated Owner Search flow.

Written by Mikaila McLane

SearchAI has been redesigned around a clearer three-step flow, with a number of usability improvements throughout.

A Clearer Step-by-Step Flow

SearchAI now walks you through three steps — Where, What, and Refine — with required and optional fields visually distinguished so it's always clear what's needed to move forward. SearchAI has also been promoted to a top-level navigation icon alongside Map and Pipeline for quicker access.

Faster Search Management

Load Recent and Load Saved are now available directly from the toolbar for instant recall of past searches, and Save Search has moved to sit alongside the Search button on the final step. You can also share or delete a saved search directly from Load Saved.

Owner Search Gets Its Own Flow

Owner Search now has a dedicated What and Refine step tailored to owner-specific filters, rather than sharing the standard parcel search flow.

Also Included

  • Search filters added to the Development Intentions tree, with Select All / Clear Selections controls and the ability to favorite frequently used intentions

  • Multi-select support for Current Land Use in Refine

  • FEMA and wetlands filters simplified to a single Max value, with quick "Exclude" shortcuts

  • SearchAI UI automatically minimizes once a search completes

  • Clearer labels, helper text, and placeholder copy throughout the search interface
