Setting Up Alerts in LRM

How to set up LRM alerts to monitor zoning changes, ownership transfers, foreclosures, and other market signals on parcels you're tracking.

Written by Mikaila McLane

Alerts let Prophetic monitor the market for you. Instead of manually checking parcels you're watching, you set the conditions once and get notified when something changes.

What Alerts Monitor

Prophetic monitors a range of market signals and property-level changes, including:

  • Zoning changes on parcels you're tracking

  • New entitlements or permit activity in your target markets

  • Ownership changes on watched parcels

  • Properties entering foreclosure

  • New listings or status changes on parcels in your pipeline

Setting Up an Alert

Open any project in LRM and navigate to the Alerts tab. You can set alerts at the project level — so any parcel in that project triggers the alert — or on individual parcels. Select the signal types you want to monitor and save. Prophetic will notify you as conditions are met.

Where Notifications Appear

Alert notifications appear in your Notifications tab in the platform. Depending on your notification settings, you may also receive email notifications. To manage your notification preferences, go to your account settings.

Calendar Integration

Tasks with due dates sync with Outlook and Gmail, so deadlines tied to alert-triggered workflows appear alongside the rest of your calendar. Connect your calendar from your account settings.

A Note on Alert Coverage

Alert coverage depends on data availability in the states and counties where your projects are located. If you're not seeing alerts fire as expected in a specific market, contact support and we can check coverage for that jurisdiction.
