Saving and Sharing a Site Plan

How to save a SiteAI site plan to a project, view saved plans on the map, export a PDF report, and share with your team.

Written by Mikaila McLane

Once SiteAI generates a site plan, you have a few options for what to do with it — save it to your project, share it with your team, or export it as a report. Here's how each one works.

Saving a Site Plan to a Project

After reviewing your output, click Save Plan from the SiteAI panel. If the parcel is already in a project, the plan saves to that project record. If it isn't, you'll be prompted to save it to a new or existing project first. Once saved, the site plan is attached to the project and accessible to anyone on your team who has access to that project.

Viewing a Saved Plan on the Map

Saved site plans persist as map annotations on the parcel. When you return to the map and navigate to a parcel with a saved plan, you'll see the plan overlaid on the parcel boundary. You can toggle saved plans on and off from the map layers panel to keep the map clean when you're not actively reviewing a plan.

Multiple Plans on One Parcel

You can save multiple site plans to the same parcel — useful when you're modeling different scenarios. For example, you might save one plan at current zoning, another at a rezoning target, and another with different home model dimensions. Each saved plan is stored separately and can be toggled independently on the map.

Exporting a PDF Report

To share your site plan with leadership, attach it to an offer, or send it to a partner, export it as a PDF. From the SiteAI output panel, click Export PDF. The report includes the site plan visual, all yield metrics (lot count, net developable area, density, road area), and the zoning inputs used to generate it — so the recipient can see exactly what assumptions drove the yield.

Each PDF export uses one document credit from your organization's pool. For more on document credits, see Letter Credit Reloads.

Sharing with a Team Member

The fastest way to share a site plan with a colleague is to save it to a project and point them to the project in LRM. They can open the project, navigate to the parcel on the map, and toggle the saved plan on. If they need a standalone file, export the PDF and share that directly.
